Summary:

• Role: Registered Nurse
• Location: East Norriton, PA
• Department: ICU
• Per Week: 36 Hours

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active PA RN License
• BLS, ACLS
• Covid Card

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform assessments and document patients' conditions, progress, and responses to treatment.
• Monitor and interpret patients' laboratory values and diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Stay updated on current evidence-based practices and participate in continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure they receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a high standard of care in the ICU.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

• 3x12
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• ICU: 2 years (Required)
• Critical care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• RN License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• East Norriton, PA (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• East Norriton, PA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
